I-TAP: Independent Training & Apprenticeship Program

Sound & Communication System Installation (SCSI)

The Sound and Communication System Installer (SCSI) apprenticeship program is a three year program combining classroom instruction with on-the job training. Students will attend daytime classes for two weeks per semester. By the end of the program, apprentices will have completed 432 hours of classroom instruction and 6,000 hours of on-the-job training. The program will train students in voice, data and video telecommunications. The standards and curriculum have received approval from the U.S. Department of Labor's Bureau of Apprenticeship Training, but the program will not begin until sufficient interest is expressed. If you are interested in participating in the SCSI apprenticeship program, please email us at cnutter@i-tap.com or call at (916) 332-3332.
